Like any small business owner, I was to make sure that I receive quality service from experienced professionals.
When I am looking for potential business partners, I try to make sure that I work with individuals who have had years of experience. I do not like working with newer businesses or suppliers because I am not sure if they know common business practices.
With experienced companies, I can trust them much more than newer businesses. The same goes whenever I am looking for chicago tech support. When I am looking for chicago tech support, I can usually find numerous companies.
The only issue I face is whether these companies are experienced enough to handle my needs. I do not wish to be stuck with a company filled with post undergraduate employees.
If I hear that they have over ten years experience, then I usually feel comfortable with moving forward with the company.
In my search for support with my network, I made a mistake and trusted the receptionist when I heard they had fifteen years experience in the industry. I asked to schedule a meeting with one of their technicians for the next day.
I was excited to get my network issues resolved. Much to my dismay, when the technician arrived, I saw that he was clearly not someone with fifteen years of experience. He was at the most, twenty five years old.
I did not want to cause a scene in my own store, so I showed him the server and gave him all the necessary information he would need. I would periodically check in on him, and I noticed that he had to continuously look at a reference book to find out how to perform certain operations.
He did not seem to know what to do, and it was evident with his lack of work over five hours. I finally decided to request that he leave my store and that his company’s services would no longer be necessary.
I contacted another company and asked to have a technician that had at least fifteen years experience. I explained why I had my concerns, and they understood perfectly. They sent a technician, and he was able to completely fix my network within an hour.
He had to undo all of the mistakes the other technician had made, and he made my network much faster and much more reliable. Now I know to trust this chicago tech support firm in the future.
