I noticed microsoft article 199175 does this information apply to vista as well if so how do i check the system has uncorrupted copies? system boots to black screen fat whilte arrow tried both F8 & msconfig. system was infected with rogue security antivirus did factory reset but safe on auto restart displays above symptoms but if i choose last known good config can access safe mode. otherwise laptop works fine in normal mode.
