It is Never too Late to Start Computer Services: Chicago Businesses

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

There are a million different computer services Chicago has to offer. As a small business owner, I never thought I would need any of them. In fact, until recently, I didn’t even know what they were.

I loved my business and put all my heart and soul into my work, but I also wasn’t trying to fool anyone. I always knew that I had a quaint business that was helpful and had a following. When it came to the web, my business was a tiny fish in the largest pond ever.

To help my little league company make the move to the big leagues, I knew I should work with one of the computer services Chicago has. A lot of the applications found online are pretty user friendly, or in my case, completely computer illiterate friendly. (more…)

Outstanding IT Consulting; Chicago Pulled Through for Me

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Wanna talk about some good IT consulting? Chicago small business are in a better position to outsource their IT needs, and I knew I struck the gold when I magically came across my latest (and last) Chicago IT outsourcing firm.

I was having a late night in the office and my colleague and I were the only ones left. Neither of us are very computer savvy, other than the essential programs that we use to run our company. Suddenly, our computers shut off and we simply panicked. We rebooted our computers, but we lost all the data we’ve been uploading throughout the day.

I quickly called the firm that does our computer consulting. Chicago was experiencing some really bad weather at the time, so I figured they might at least be able to talk me through some steps over the phone. But I didn’t even get to that step.

Since it was after five at night, their offices were closed and all I got was a voicemail machine. Long story short, we both panicked even more. Then I ran a search for an “IT consulting Chicago,” and called up the first three companies that came up.

The first two were closed, of course, but the third one was a charm sent from above. A very nice gentleman answered the phone and I quickly explained to him the situation. We spent about fifteen minutes together talking through exactly what I did and how I might fix it.

When my efforts seemed futile, he told me to hang tight because he was on his way over to me! I couldn’t believe it!

It was after hours, pouring rain and this guy literally dropped what he was doing and drove over to my office to help me. The customer service was unbelievable and I never imagined that there was a company out there that took customer satisfaction that seriously.

Furthermore, when he arrived, he explained everything that went wrong in simple terms. He realized that I was not one who knew the ins and outs of computer technology, so he explained very simply what he was going to do to fix the problem and how I can avoid the problem in the future.

From now on, I am hopelessly devoted to my new IT company and I will never look back at the inadequate service that I was receiving before.

In Chicago, IT Consulting More Comprehensive Through Outsourced Network

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Professional services take professional networks, not just a single techie geek who claims to be able to handle all your problems. In Chicago, IT consulting can be had cheaper through a network than hiring a full-time individual.

Computer problems rarely happen conveniently during the workday when in-house tech support has time to deal with it. When they occur, they can be dramatic in scale, requiring services that are beyond the capabilities of a single person.

When you don’t have many computer needs and your system is fine and soaring, your in-house tech support is just struggling to keep busy. They need to look busy so they can justify getting paid.

You have to pay them whether there’s work to do or not. IT consulting has too many wasted expenses to do yourself. With a Chicago IT outsourcing network, you get more efficiency by having a pool of resources to better meet your needs. Whether they or small or monumental, you get the tech support you need at a price you can afford.

An IT consulting network only employs qualified training professionals. You aren’t dealing with someone who’s picked up the trade working on their own computers. You get someone professionally trained with credentials you can trust.

When you hire an outside company, you can still get that same personal touch. You get a single person working on your needs, but someone who is more experienced and works with a variety of companies as part of his or her job. They can better customize your system because that’s what they do all day long. They live and breathe computer technology, saving you money by making your system run better.

They get to know your staff and systems personally, inside and out. They establish close ties and become known around the company on a first name basis. Building relationships is an important part of friendly IT maintenance. This way they can better understand your company’s needs and better help your employees do their jobs for more productive leverage.

In Chicago, IT consulting can be better done through a network than a full-time employee because the cost efficiency of a network is that much better. They can understand your needs for a customized approach, but they also have more resources to better handle your dilemma. They can offer emergency support in addition to customized design and system backup.

In Chicago, Computer Services Too Competitive to Not Expect the Best

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

In Chicago, computer services aren’t always up front. They may promise low fees, but then don’t mention the extra fees that get tagged onto the bill from service to service.

Often, the services have already been performed before you even find out what you are getting charged. You can easily wrack up a huge bill with certain disreputable service companies, which is part of their stick. These companies aren’t interested in building a long-term relationship.

They’ll gouge you for what you’re worth, and then be gone in the night. Focusing on first-time clients, satisfaction is hardly their concern.

Yet there are plenty of companies to choose from in Chicago. IT outsourcing tech support companies must be weighed, especially in how honest and up front they are. Always look for a guarantee.

When you pay for outsourced tech services, you deserve work you are satisfied with. You shouldn’t have to settle for anything. That means you should be absolutely happy when you pay the bill. If anything doesn’t mean your expectations, you deserve to have them met immediately before any money is exchanged.

You also deserve a bill that’s up front from the beginning. All costs should be itemized and discussed before hand so there are no surprises. The company should discuss options and costs openly without hidden fees.

A company should make it their jobs and duty to earn your trust. A good company is looking for a lasting relationship, not a fly by night operation. This means they want your satisfaction.

They should earn it with every work order, by the month if not by the week. The IT industry is simply too competitive to not expect the best. If your company doesn’t meet your expectations, find someone that does. You’ll be happy if you do.

You’ll be happier because you’ll be more productive. For businesses in Chicago, computer services affect how well they can do business.

A good service not only keeps the system up and running, but also gets the most efficiency out of the system for the most productive performance. You should only expect the best, and if you’re not getting it, shop somewhere else.

The very functions of your business depend on it. Improve the capacity of production by improving the capacity of your computer system.

For Computer Support, Chicago Deserves the Best

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

What should you expect when it comes to computer support? Chicago small businesses have the right to demand the world. The competition for IT service in Chicago is astounding.

You should demand the best. Your Chicago IT outsourcing company is the lifeblood of your company. Why would you ever leave it in the hands of a disreputable company that doesn’t deliver?

There are several things to demand when it comes to computer support. Chicago businesses really can’t function efficiently without a few basic needs met.

First, demand 24/7 computer service. That’s any day of the week, any time of the night, even on Christmas and the weekends. Computers don’t sleep.

When they go out on you, your business shuts down, as if the digital factories have stopped running. The longer your system is down, the more the profit does down the drain.

A problem in the middle of the night simply can’t wait until the convenience of morning. You need it fixed immediately. Emergency support is just a necessity of the business.

Call outside business hours, and your company should at least return your phone call within an hour, even in the middle of the night. If they can’t fix the problem over the phone, you ultimately deserve a visit from your tech support, no matter how late it may be.

Your computer service is vital to the functions of your business. A down system eve in the wee morning hours can substantially cost your business money.

You also need all costs spelled out up front. Some companies may promise low fees, but then include hidden costs on the bill that make it considerably hefty than you agreed to in the beginning.

Demand that all costs and fees be fully explained and itemized ahead of time by your contractor. Really, you should be presented with a monthly invoice before any work gets done. You should always be on the same page, especially when it’s an itemized sheet of expenses.

Most importantly, you should demand satisfaction. You shouldn’t have to fork over any money until you are completely satisfied with the service.

With the multiple options for computer support, Chicago deserves complete satisfaction. Anyone who doesn’t offer a guarantee should be run out of town. They don’t deserve your business.

For IT Support, Chicago Companies Need Personalized Attention

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

When it comes to IT support, Chicago businesses require a personal approach. That’s because every business is unique with specific functions, needs and streamlines.

You need a tech support that personally familiarizes itself with your business so that they know you inside and out, up and down.

That’s why businesses need uniformity when it comes to IT outsourcing. Chicago small companies need the same tech person performing their services, not a stream of people who have new faces with each visit.

Like too many cooks, too many people on the tech support end only results in confusion. Not only do they tend to step on each other’s toes and create contradicting strategies, but they’re also never on the same page.

With a single person to manage your entire system, he or she can design a system that’s uniquely customized to the specific functions of your business.

They can help streamline the processes of the office for more efficiency. They can customizea system that’s align to your people and what they do.

Some companies have a new person each time there’s a service appointment. Worse, others hire contractors, so you never know who’s sniffing around your system, which is not only cumbersome, but a bona fide security risk as well.

Who knows who’s walking your hallways and going through your files when they aren’t even paid employees of the company you hired?

You should be able to get to know your IT specialist. It should become a familiar working relationship, almost like someone in the family. They should get to know your employees through one-on-one interactions.

This way they can know your specific needs and design unique solutions that best meet your problems and challenges.

With a single person, they can become intimately familiar with your system to scan it for potential problems.

Often, meltdowns are the result of small problems left to themselves. If you can fix these small errors in the beginning, you can stop catastrophe in the making with personal IT support. Chicago businesses that have continuity in computer support will receive more attention to detail, catching small dilemmas when they are fixable to avoid future catastrophe.

Don’t Skimp on Computer Service. Chicago Needs All the Help It Can Get

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Keep in mind that getting a bargain on IT consulting services is not always the money saver you originally bargained for.

Some companies will charge obscenely low fees, but then leave you hanging when you need computer service. Chicago business never slows down.

To keep up, you need a viable computer system that can deliver, even in the wee hours of the morning or during a busy weekend. Often, it’s in these odd times that you face the most important and demanding deadlines.

You can be easily crippled if your computer service fails.

That’s why emergency support is vital when it comes to your computer service. People need IT outsourcing Chicago companies they can rely on 24/7, 365 days a week, even during holidays and weekends. During business hours, a good company should be able to provide you immediate help over the phone.

If they can’t fix it in 15 minutes, you deserve an on-site visit from your tech support person who will keep working at the system until it is back up and running.

Often, these small companies will also have a range of workers managing your system, and nobody stays on the same page. Every time someone works on your system, it’s like they are starting over, learning how it’s managed and then adding their own modifications.

This is not only confusing, but also impractical. You should demand the same tech support person to handle your system through the entire period. That way they can become familiar and learn to optimize your system to the best of its potential.

They can design your system to the best of its specifications in a way that best meets the needs of your office because they know it backwards and forwards.

Most often, the money you lose from down computers while working with a more economical company is far more than you save.

Most companies that go the ultimately cheap route soon see the errors in their ways and go back, but only after they’ve been spurred by a loss of production that eats up profits.

You just don’t want to skimp on quality computer service. Chicago small businesses rely on their computers. They should be able to rely on tech support that delivers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anything else is substandard.

You can effectively lay off your IT employee and hire an IT outsourcer and save thousands of dollars a year but still receive the exact same level of service.

By employing the services of an it outsourcing Chicago provider, you will essentially be handing over the duties of your IT professional to a company that is committed to providing you high quality computer service. The Best Computer Help Around

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

When your business needs to find a computer help Chicago provider, you are faced with many options. It is your responsibility to find the best one for your business that offers the most comprehensive services for the most affordable prices. When faced with this decision, take the time to carefully weigh out all of your options to make sure that you choose what is best for your business’s computers and your pocketbook.

Many businesses try to contact their retailer when they start having problems with their computers. They are unsure of where to find a computer help Chicago provider so they return to the retail store where they purchased them from. These stores often do employ their own team of IT technicians and they can send them out to look at your computers. This is not a good option because these retailers will charge you very high prices and they might be sending out a technician that has only a minimal level of IT knowledge.

Another option that you have is to find an IT guy or girl to come and take a look at your computer. They usually charge on an hourly basis and you can find one in the phone book or as a referral. This is not the best option either. You are subject to their availability and if you happen to have an emergency and they are not available you are left to find another solution. They also can take their sweet time in making repairs or convince you that you need upgrades that you don’t necessarily need.

You could also pack up your computer and take it to a computer repair shop. There are several setbacks with this type of computer help Chicago provider. First of all, this is the most labor intensive option for you. Secondly, what if your problem lies with the connectivity of your computer? Then you just hauled it into the shop and paid to have it serviced for nothing.

Finally, there are reliable IT outsourcing companies that staff a crew of professional employees that will come to your business and service your computers whenever you need them to. These companies provide the largest spectrum of services and are the most affordable and reliable. They are clearly your best option when you need computer help.
