The Situation

If some or all of your people use virtual desktops, whether on-premises, in a data center, in Azure Virtual Desktop, or from some other virtual desktop provider, we can consolidate them into Windows 365 Cloud PCs. For most companies it's a group or a handful of people. In the best case, everyone has one.

Here's what we do. A Windows 365 Cloud PC is a dedicated Windows desktop that's a cloud service from Microsoft. It's not a virtual desktop hosted in your office, in a data center, or even in your own Azure. It's easy to provision, and we dial in the right amount of computing power. It's dedicated to each user, not shared or session-based, and it's a flat rate for the entire month. It's managed and deployed through Microsoft Intune, integrated with Entra ID, and secured by Microsoft Defender XDR, like the rest of your system.

Your people can bring whatever device they like, if you have a BYOD policy: a Mac, a Windows computer, a tablet, or a phone. Or you can supply a thin client or a Windows 365 Link. Either way, it's just a terminal to their desktop, which stays completely under your control.

If you still have legacy applications on servers, we'll move your servers into an Azure virtual network, and then integrate the Cloud PCs directly into that same virtual network. We can even turn a legacy application into something people open in a web browser, with a secure connection through Entra ID single sign-on and conditional access, and Entra Private Access.

Everything else is already in cloud services. Your email, files, phones, security, and device management are in Microsoft 365. The last thing is the computers people connect from. With Windows 365, that's virtual too, on a subscription that expands or contracts with the number of users you have.

And here's the bigger picture: your entire infrastructure can be 100% cloud services, from the back-end IT services to the end-user desktops. Completely virtual, completely under your control, with no refresh cycles and no hardware to provision or take back when an employee leaves.

Why It Wins

Compared to other virtual desktops.

  • An easy, inexpensive add-on to the Microsoft 365 subscription you already have.
  • A dedicated virtual desktop, not a shared session, so one user's problem doesn't affect everyone else.
  • A flat rate.
  • Integrated directly into your Azure virtual network, if you still have servers there.
  • Tied directly into Entra ID and managed by the same security infrastructure as your laptops and desktops.
  • Your company data stays completely under your control.

Which Cloud PC, and what does each one cost?

Enterprise is the one we lead with: your own images, Intune and Group Policy control, and a connection to your Azure virtual network. Business is the simple edition for companies up to 300 users. Flex and Link are for shared workers and shared locations.

Plain-English results, no product names.

Microsoft list prices in US dollars, billed monthly, checked October 2026. Enterprise and Business are per user per month. Flex is per license per month, and one license can be shared by up to three people, one at a time. Link is a one-time hardware price per device, and it needs a Cloud PC license to connect to. * Microsoft says Flex has the same licensing requirements as Enterprise, but does not list its image and size options separately. Business uses a Microsoft-hosted network and cannot join your own Azure virtual network. Business has an outbound data allowance by Cloud PC size, and Enterprise Azure network traffic is billed separately by Azure. Prices change, so ask us for a current quote.

Replacing what you have

If you already have a virtual desktop solution

  • The servers, hosting, or data center that run your virtual desktops go away.
  • Cloud PCs join your Azure virtual network, next to the servers they use.
  • Same security as the rest of your system: Intune, Entra ID, and Defender XDR.
  • One flat rate per user, expanding or contracting as people come and go.
All in on the cloud

If everything is a cloud service

  • Cloud services from the back-end IT systems to the end-user desktops.
  • Your people bring the device they like, or you supply a thin client or a Windows 365 Link.
  • Nothing to provision, and nothing to take back when someone leaves.
  • Few companies are all the way here yet. You can get there one group of users at a time.
